About
Built for Cheyenne, one household at a time.
Cheyenne K9 Experts started with a simple idea: training works best where your dog actually lives, not in a classroom across town.
Alexis Coggiola, Founder & Lead Trainer
Alexis holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University and spent years training dogs in the Sierra Nevada before bringing her practice to Cheyenne. Dogs aren’t just her trade — they’re her passion.

Why in-home training
Working in your home means every session deals with your real triggers: your doorbell, your fence line, your schedule. What we build together is built to hold up in the place it needs to hold up.
Group classes teach a dog to behave in a room full of strangers for an hour a week. That’s not the same skill as behaving in your kitchen, your yard, or on your street — which is where it actually counts.
Direct communication
You’ll always know what we’re working on, why, and what to expect next — no vague progress updates.
One dog at a time
No group classes, no split attention. Every session is built around your dog specifically.
Realistic timelines
Behavior change takes as long as it takes. We’re upfront about that from the first conversation.
Local & accountable
Based in Cheyenne, working in Cheyenne. Reachable between sessions, not just during them.
